In addition to their excellent guidebooks, TRAILNOTES features a hiking-focused blog with practical tips, destination highlights, gear reviews, and personal stories from their adventures. You’ll have to browse, as there’s currently no way to keyword search, but there’s a wealth of knowledge here!
Like us, Niké and Jacint’s mission is to inspire others to embrace the outdoors and discover the joy of walking holidays. They also share our desire to work directly with local inns and tour operators and to promote hiking routes that often get overlooked by large tour companies. They do this in 3 ways:

- Sharing personal hiking adventures and guidance with their blog
- Designing custom “ready to book” itineraries for DIY planners
With their trip planning services, they provide you an itinerary with recommended accommodations, dining, logistics and transportation, route notes with walking details and GPS. This is created specifically for you and they charge a reasonable fee for this service. They don’t book anything for you, they provide links and contacts for you to do so on your own.
