No Footprint Eco Tours is a small Greek tour operator offering self-guided and guided walking holidays in Greece that focus on nature and wildlife. Most of their trips are guided but they do offer self-guided trips in Santorini, Naxos, Iraklia and Amorgos. Their mission is to “introduce travelers to an alternative way of experiencing Greece away from the mainstream,” something we wholeheartedly support!
Review of No Footprint Website
No Footprint has a simple site that clearly conveys their dedication to responsible travel and sustainable ecotourism. We love that they include direct links to lodging websites and they offer upgraded accommodations, something you don’t typically see with the local operators. Not every trip includes these details, however, and knowing where to find lodging info is tricky as it’s hidden under their “Best time to visit” tab. While they don’t provide daily elevation details, they do give an overview of terrain and walking conditions. We’ve hiked the Cyclades and they are not flat, so just assume every walk will have a lot of up and down elevation changes and you’ll be fine.
No Footprint’s guided eco walks are where this company truly shines. They offer a great selection of mainland and island destinations and trips include other activities such as sailing, kayaking and photography.
