Follow the Camino

Guided, Self-guided

Follow the Camino is based in Ireland and focuses entirely on pilgrimage inn to inn hiking routes (caminos). Their primary focus is the Camino de Santiago, for which they create personalized self-guided trips and match you with your own camino planner. They offer packaged itineraries for other caminos, such as the Via Francigena, St. Francis Way, Geneva Way and Waterford Camino (guided). They are the sister company of One Foot Abroad, also based in Ireland.

Review of Follow the Camino Website

The Camino de Santiago consists of many routes and multiple countries, so it’s always a challenge for any website to organize and condense all of that information. Follow the Camino does a good job by keeping it simple. You can read about each route and see suggested itineraries (which include all details except lodging and elevation). If you get overwhelmed by all the options, their Camino Collections can help narrow it down a bit. Their FAQ page is very helpful and answers important questions that people often fail to ask.
